... Wawrzycki was born to Thomas James and Carol Ellen on November 2, 1975,
in Rochester, New York. He grew up in Webster, New York. In 1998, he received
his B.A. in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing and Literature,
from Binghamton University. Between successful runs as a salesperson, telecom
manager, educator, and founder of his own Internet start-up company, Michael
earned his M.A. in English from Binghamton University in 2001. After a
stint in the publishing industry, Michael decided to depart in 2003 for
New Orleans, to attend law school at Tulane University School of Law. For
the past two years, he has worked as a law clerk for the firm Oreck, Bradley,
Creighton, Adams & Chase, focusing solely on work for the Oreck Corporation.
After surviving Hurricane Katrina, Michael visited Boston University for
the semester with his girlfriend Sarah.
He is now back in New Orleans, and recently completed law school and will
soon be working full time for the Oreck Corporation as Associate In-House
Counsel.
Michael enjoys the writings of William Faulkner, Grahme Green, and Nathaniel
Hawthorne, and can often be found listening to Audioslave, the Verve Pipe
(especially the new Brian Vander Ark CDs), 90s rock, any of the Wu-Tang Clan,
as well as a wide assortment of electronic, jazz, blues, and classical music.
Working out and jogging are a part of Michael's daily regimen, as is healthy
eating. Nonetheless, a hard day's end usually comes in a glass of Glen Livet,
but local favorite, Abita beer, always has a soft spot in Michael's heart.
Mike also is a big sports fan, who avidly watches basketball, football, and
hockey, and if in the right mood just about anything else. When not so occupied,
Michael is desperately addicted to FX's challenging television shows, The
Shield and Nip/Tuck, as well as the comedy Scrubs.
When not on a political or philosophic rant, Michael is probably quietly contemplating
something. Currently, he spends lots of time with his girlfriend, Sarah,
