When we were in Mendocino, California, we ran into a woman who worked for the Conservation Department. She was nursing this hawk back to health. That is myself and my sister Sue closest to her; my cousin Melissa is in the foreground.
At the same location, with the same woman (on the very left edge of picture). She let us pet the hawk. It was so cool. Again that is Melissa on the left, my sister Sue, and then me, petting the hawk.
At a scenic overlook in Mendocino, it was my Mother who most likely snapped this photograph of the coast wrapping around the Pacific Ocean.
