Hurricane Ivan(September 2004)

During my second year in New Orleans, we were warned out of the city, evacuating for Hurricane Ivan. The storm never hit us, but I did have a chance to see some of the country that I had never seen before. During that time, I decided to stay a few days in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a picture of the countryside on the way to that city.

After leaving Little Rock, I decided to drive to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Just because. Here is some of the countryside on the way there.

Lastly, I decided to swing down through Texas. It's too bad I don't have any pictures of my Dad's cousin, Bobbi's, family, who was gracious enough to put me up for a night. But I do have this picture entering the state.
