Salvage Mission (September 2005)

This is another of Sarah's roommates' bedroom. It is not hard to see why the ceiling collapsed on the floor below. And consider that this was a house in the part of New Orleans that was not affected badly by Hurricane Katrina.


This is a walk-in closet that the above room and Sarah's room shared. This is the reason we had to wash every single article of Sarah's clothes to get the rainwater and mold out of. Luckily, most of her valuables were spared from damage by smart packing on Sarah's part.


Miracle of miracles, Sarah's roof was intact! (Of course, it had been blown off during Tropical Storm Cindy...).
