Mardi Gras (February 2004)

This is from the uptown parades during Carnival. One of the best ways to spend a day: walking up and down St. Charles Street with a beer in hand and thousands of people having fun and catching beads.

And this is it. Mardi Gras day, downtown, the French Quarter. My sister had a friend on a third floor balcony and it was a blast!
