Voodoofest 2004 was by far the greatest concert I have ever been to. Two
beautiful sun-filled eighty degree days of blistering rock and swanky hip-hop in City Park, New Orleans, Louisiana. This is De La Soul on the MTV2 stage.
This is Voodoo at its best, with one of the straw voodoo effigies crowd surfing before the Green Day show.
This is Velvet Revolver, a super-band mix of Guns 'n' Roses and Stone Temple Pilots. They were amazing.
Closing out the two-day festival was Kid Rock. While perhaps not the best music act we saw, he may well have been the best entertainer.
