Arahk

Once an assassin in the employ of the Empire, Arahk fell into some sort of disfavor. Like most of his kind, the Emperor cared nothing for them and even Lord Vader turned a cold shoulder; Arahk was cast out. Though still highly capable, Arahk had little appreciable talents in an alien-unfriendly Empire. He found his life in danger until a Y-Wing pilot named Alexander rescued him.

The two became friends and found work for the Sullustan crimelord, Nien Kuum. There they met the smugglers Fabius Kane and Donovan, who they also worked with. Unfortunately, Kane's indiscretions got them all fired. While laying low on Dagobah, the group of four was ambused by Vela and his group of bounty hunters looking for Kane. Though the group was put down, it was not done without cost. Alexander died in the battle.

Arahk decided to continue on with the smugglers and they pulled many jobs over the next year. When they joined the Yarkora pop singer, Petra, on her tour, Arahk found someone to truly bond with; he liked protecting Alexander when he had been alive and those feelings of protectiveness settled comfortably on Petra. However, after smuggling drexinogen into Corellia, Petra insisted on turning Kane and Donovan over to bounty hunters, convincing the Noghri that they had been the reason that Alexander had died. That was a mistake. The bounty hunters' swoop attack only gave other enemies a chance to take advantage of the melee and destroyed their ships, killing both Petra and Arahk.
