Fabius Kane

If ever someone did not want to be a hero, it was Fabius Kane. Growing up poor on Nar Shadda, he only dreamt of having his own ship and having the financial security that was ever elusive for his father, and which ultimately led to his demise. Kane grew up with the Sluissi, Donovan, and his family, until Fabius' father's debts caught up with his former partner: Donovan's father, Cyvale. The two youngsters only escaped when Cyvale faked selling them to slavers to satisfy the bounty hunters that finally caught up with him.

Kane grew up knowing that morals got you killed and money kept you alive; thus that was what formed his character. After running with street gangs for most of his youth, Kane eventually took to smuggling, joining his old friend, Donovan, who had become quite a tech. Ultimately, this led them to work for the Sullustan crime lord, Nien Kuum.

Since then, life has been a blur for Kane. Caught in a whirlwind of adventures, Kane has found himself racing across the galaxy, running with some of the most notorious names in the Empire. Making a name for himself as a scoundrel, Kane has recently hooked up with the Syndicate.

Of additional note is the fact that many of the few Force-users in the galaxy have recognized Kane as one of them, from the High Inquisitor Tremayne, to the reclusive Vima-Da-Boda, the mysterious Papa Beedo, to the Syndicate's Veroshk, and Yarros Starhammer. Kane himself, having long denied this fact, is starting to slowly accept the veracity of it. To this end, he had allowed Veroshk to teach him to use a lightsaber and undergo a brief training. This was cut, short however, with the death of both Veroshk and Papa Beedo during a battle with Tremayne. Largely blaming himself, Fabius has since left his former comrades, Donovan and the Ortolan, Spid Dövan, and gone to seek out the Jedi Master, Zyan-Krol, as Veroshk wanted before he passed.

Although Kane has trained consistently over the last two years with Zyan and his other student Leia Organa-Helskarr, he has periodically left his studies on Belkadan to find adventure. Rumor has it, Kane has found a new crew, and has been engaging in battles against most of the factions in the galaxy: including the Hutts, the Empire, and the Corporate Sector.

Kane has recently stepped up his role in galactic affairs. This includes a declaration of war against the Empire on Dubrillion, and engaging several darksiders on Nar Shadda along with Donovan and other Syndicate and Hapan forces. However, the darksiders recently struck back, killing Kane's Jedi Master, Zyan-Krol.
