Mon Mothma

Once a senator with the Republic, Mon Mothma quickly became one of the founders of the Rebellion when the Empire began to solidify its reign of terror. Unfortunately, even this adroit stateswoman could not keep the Rebellion from being crushed when it was betrayed by Luke Skywalker.

Faced with a new Emperor that felt no need to hide his mastery of the Force, she fears for the galaxy now more than ever. Finding that Syndicate forces were the ones that rescued her from Imperial assassins did not help matters. She may have recognized the Force in Cobalt Blue and Fabius Kane, but was less than impressed with them and their friend Donovan, whom she slowly realized were all criminals. Only the sight of her old friends, Han Solo and Chewbacca, comforted her. There she learned that Leia Organa had married Prince Isolder of the Hapes Cluster, and was associated with a fallen Jedi, Veroshk.

All considererd, Mon Mothma is understandably shaken and less than optimistic about the future, especially after learning who Destine, the leader of the Syndicate, really is. Nonetheless, she remained with the Syndicate, and recently volunteered to help defend Queen Leia in her adultery trial.
