Worked for Nien Kuum

Fabius Kane and Donovan, later working with Alexander and Arahk, were all employees of the Sullustan crime lord Nien Kuum. They were in his employ for perhaps a year, ending their relationship with him at approximately the same time that the Rebellion against the Empire failed and Endor was destroyed.

Approached by rare Force Users (x12)
When mere adolescents, both Donovan and Fabius Kane were approached by the recluse Vima-Da-Boda on Nar Shadda. There she began to teach them the ways of the Force. Yet, suddenly she disapperared. Later, this duo was approached by the Jedi Veroshk, not once, but twice. The Dark Force-user first met them on Sullust before that planet's destruction and later caught up with them on Corellia. Both times, he sensed their latent Force abilities and wanted them to come with him as part of a new rebellion. Both times, the smugglers rebuffed his offers. (See more below on Veroshk.) Later, the Force user Papa Beedo sensed the same potential in them, but neither was interested in his offers to teach them. Kane's destiny was also sensed by Yarros Starhammer, and so the younger Starhammer son elected Kane to help him rescue his brothers and father. Most recently, when Kane was captured by Imperial forces on Bespin, the High Inquisitor Tremayne noticed this and ordered him taken for his own brand of training. However, Veroshk then freed Kane. In return for this aid, and the rescuing of Donovan, giving in, in part to his anger against the Empire, Kane finally agreed to let Veroshk teach him more. As Donovan recovered from his injuries, and Kane's training barely begun, both Veroshk and Beedo died in a battle with Tremayne; after which, Kane gave his lightsaber and a holovid with all he knew about it to Donovan, before mysteriously disappearing. The truth is that Kane went to study with Veroshk's former student, Queen Leia, under the ancient Jedi Master Zyan-Krol. Yet even after this, somehow, the two scoundrels have ended teaming up with Ace Proton and Sendaar, who both are Force sensitive, while squaring off against a Huttese Sith Lord and he who appreared to be a clone of the former Emperor. The Hutt seemed to be after Fabius, but the would-be Palpatine seemed indifferent. Yet the mysterious Shadow Master has recently been revealed to have been watching him and Donovan for years. How these forces collide in the future remains to be seen.

Traveled with Petra
Arahk, Donovan, and Kane all traveled with the pop star Petra, using her entourage as a cover for several months, smuggling goods under her aegis.

Outlaw Notoriety
Fabius Kane, Donovan, Papa Beedo, and IL-1D20 have been associated with or worked with Burt "Mojo" Xax, Zerrisk Math'ha, the "Eviscerator," Zardra, Jodo Kast, Han Solo, and Chewbacca, as well as Destine and the Syndicate. Also, D20 has been identified as EV-9D9 and Papa Beedo (mistakenly or not) has been labeled as the infamous Dobo Hutsah. Not to mention the notoriety that Kane himself has garnered: some deserved, some not. With his recent actions against the Empire, Kane has become more infamous than ever.

Run-In with Boba Fett
Though Fabius Kane's own interaction with the infamous bounty hunter was a simple crash landing, Papa Beedo and IL-1D20 squared off against him and Dengar and nearly defeated them through sheer gumption alone, as the eerie droid actually intimidated Fett. Yet even in the end, Beedo's kindness to Fett's friend, Me Lyn, prevented further conflict and even encouraged Fett to call in a favor to get their ship repaired.

Smooth Operator
Fabius Kane has had several noted amorous relationship throughout the galaxy. The Jedi-scoundrel and the real Zerrisk Math'ha shared an undeniable attraction, one which nearly met its fruition, before D20 and Papa Beedo interrupted the two with news of D'urrou's duplicity. Later, on Corellia, Kane partook in all-night affair with both the redhead and the Rodian females from the Max Rebo Band. Kane has also been linked with Queen Leia (see "Royal Affair" below).

EV-9D9/Kane
Though no one seems to know why, IL-1D20: Mark 2 learned on Bespin that it has been programmed not to be able to injure Fabius Kane. Presumably, the original D20 shares this programming. Though Mark 1 is probably not aware of it, unless Mark 2 informed it (which is almost as unlikely as Kane doing so).

Joined the Syndicate
After the defection of IL-1D20 and the defeat of D'urrou, Papa Beedo and Fabius Kane were joined by the rejuvinated Donovan and the Ortolan Spid Dövan in becoming members of the Syndicate at the behest of the Dark Jedi, Veroshk, who along with Kaya Tarkin, ferried them to meet Destine, their new leader. Once there, they realized that Destine had a special mission for them. Though this mission ended with Beedo's death, Donovan and Spid continued to work with the Syndicate, joined by Ace Proton, Sendaar, and Jens. Fabius, however, left the Syndicate shortly after Veroshk's death, and though remaining on good termswith the group, has since done acted independently.

Flew into the Galactic Maw
Fabius Kane, aided by Kaya Tarkin on the way in and Donovan on the way out, did something few other beings have managed to do: fly into the center of the Galactic Maw without a map. While his compatriots did their best to navigate for him, this feat is almost impossible without a planned route, which Kane did not have. Unsurprisingly, Papa Beedo credited this success to Kane's innate ability to use the Force. Either way, this was a difficult feat worthy of repute.

Discovered Survivors of Endor's Moon
After Fabius Kane, Donovan, and Cobalt Blue (a.k.a Papa Beedo) rescued Mon Mothma, they deliverered her to fellow Syndicate agents. To their great surprise, these people were Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2, and C-3P0. All thought dead, they revealed that Leia Organa had survived also, and had married Prince Isolder of the Hapes Cluster. Solo re-iterated something that they never paid close enough attention before: that the Death Star hesitated before destroying Endor's moon.

Gambling Legend
On the night before the commemoration of the Imperial Navy, Cobalt Blue took out his entourage and had the time of their life at a prominent Corellian casino. The rest of the world was astounded by the pop singer's one million dollar gamble: allowing his Kel Dor bodyguard to play one all or nothing hand of Sabacc after losing over twenty thousand that night. The world and the galaxy was astounded when Ord Bloo won. Both men instantly won renown as either incredibly lucky or skilled gamblers. What the world did not know would probably get all involved banned from casinos for life. The Sluissi, Donovan, had given Bloo the twenty-five thousand to lose as a set up. Ord Bloo, who was really Fabius Kane, then used the darker side of his Force powers to make sure he won the last hand when Cobalt stepped in to make his offer. This legend was later tarnished when people on Dubrillion learned that Ord Bloo was really Kane; it was not hard to surmise that Bloo's success was the product of cheating. Kane will likely find himself barred from any and all casinos in the future.

The Legacy of Cobalt Blue
Cobalt Blue (a.k.a Papa Beedo), one of pop music's greatest rising stars, destined for greatness, died abruptly and far before his time. One of the tragic victims of the Corellian Disaster, his legacy (and his one album) will live on forever, cherised by true fans across the galaxy.

Royal Affair
While training on Belkadan with the ancient Jedi Master, Zyan-Krol, Queen Leia—who is married to Isolder of the Hapes Cluster—engaged in a several month affair with her fellow padawan learner, Fabius Kane. However, the two Jedis recently agreed that their affair could not continue any longer. The Jedis remain very close and seem to be bonded now in a way that transcends their previous relationship.

Experience with Clones
Fabius Kane, Donovan, Spid Dövan, and Papa Beedo first learned that clones still play a part in galactic affairs when they discovered the true identity of Destine. Later, the former three and Ace Proton learned a bit more when they discovered (and subsequently destroyed) cloning facilities on Kamino. Most recently, when joining with Jens and Sendaar, they encountered what they believe to have been a clone of the former Emperor, Palpatine.
