Rebellion's End: Chapter 3

Fabius Kane, Donovan, Alexander, and Arahk land on Dagobah, an isolated planet almost in Wild Space, just past the end of the Rimma Trade Route, as a good place where they can all lay low and Fabius can clear his head. Donovan works on the ship, while Alexander and Arahk ponder their next move and whether to stay with the two smugglers any longer. Fabius goes for a long walk in the jungle. Unfortunately, their respite does not last long.

The four mercenaries run into a group of martial artists led by Arden Lynn. This group had chosen Dagobah as a place of natural peace, on which to study their lore and practice in solitude; they are not happy to see the four mercenaries. Though Kane and his friends do not know it, the members of this group are all members of the mysterious Teräs Käsi order. Perhaps because of this, they can sense something unusual about Kane and Donovan. Regardless, they are not happy to see others on the planet. The two groups are about to come to blows, when Bounty Hunters led by Vela swarm down to the planet, in an effort to capture Kane and the others: hoping to cash in on Kane's minor notoriety. This shatters all tensions and hell breaks loose, with all three sides fighting each other. Yet over the course of the battle, Arden Lynn and her people realize that the vicious bounty hunters are the true danger and end up working with Kane and his friends in order to defeat them. Though Lynn realizes that the smugglers are the more valiant characters, she is not impressed by Kane's attempts at charm.

Ultimately, the crew of mercenaries win the battle, but not without great cost. The bounty hunters are dead, and Alexander, the Y-Wing pilot, is killed in the action. Arahk is devastated, but following his protective instincts, he decides to stay with the two smugglers, taking Alexander’s Y-Wing and following them wherever they go.
