Rebellion's End: Epilogue

Over the next year, Donovan, Fabius Kane, and Arahk take on a number of jobs. They depart from Dagobah and head even further from known space, moving into the Minos Cluster. After some quiet time there, they pick up a legitimate job, carrying minerals to Belsavis. They do not spend any time there, heading instead towards the core and landing in Nkklon. There they are advised to meet up with a contact in Rodia, who has a lucrative, but dangerous job. Donovan, Kane, and Arahk head to the homeworld of the Rodians to meet this person. Although getting the job proves nearly as dangerous as carrying it out, they finally obtain a lucrative contract to smuggle Spice into Duro. Although they need to evade Imperial patrols, they manage to do so and safely deliver the cargo. It is there that they meet the Yarkora singer, Petra, who takes a liking to them. Arahk instinctively protects her from an assailant and the bond is solidified. Fabius and Donovan come up with the idea that they can follow her entourage and use it as a cover for their illegal operations.

Using the distraction of Petra’s appearance in Nubia, the team sneaks onto the planet and hijacks a shipment of droid parts scheduled to leave the planet and carry them to Neimoidia, where they are well paid for them. Their reputation from this job gets them a job with a thief in Kuat, where they pick up a shipment of stolen ship parts and transport them to Kashyyyk, to help surviving rebel factions. This route draws Imperial attention, however, so they hide out on Yavin for a while, much to Petra’s annoyance.

They then head for Telos, looking for a job, while Petra performs. They hear of an Ithorian root which a buyer wants in Ord Mandell. They go to Ithor and (illegally) harvest enough of the root and carry it to Ord Mandell, eluding Ithorian authorities. This job is finally enough to pay off the last of the money they owned on The Banshee’s Kiss: the ship is theirs. In Ord Mandell still, they hear about a job smuggling drexinogen to Corellia. Immediately, the crew begins to plan a big performance for Petra on Corellia.
