IL1D20 (Mark 2)

When IL1D20 Mark 1 (EV-9D9) desired to safeguard his consciousness against the dangerous mission of protecting Achilles Starhammer, it duplicated its cerebral programming and placed it into an inactive protocol droid. What neither Mark 1 nor its comrades knew, was that their other comrade, D'urrou, was a serial killer who would steal this droid clone and activate it for his own use. Mark 2 then took right off where Mark 1 began, building a droid army and working to further its own evil purposes. Ironically, the droid realized that its biggest foe would be himself: Mark 1.

While Mark 1 was off negotiating with Lobot on Bespin, Fabius Kane and Papa Beedo were aggressively pursuing both D'urrou and Mark 2. With the aid of the Falleen, Veroshk, those characters did ultimately catch up with the pair. With the aid of the Ortolan, Spid Dövan, they decimated Mark 2's droid army and put an end to D'urrou forever. However, Mark 2's brain was incorporated elsewhere and survived the attack. During that battle, though, Mark 2 learned that someone had programmed Mark 1 so that it was unable to hurt Kane; a program which is still inside Mark 2.

Mark 2 went on to take over the cloning facilities on Kamino. There, he used samples of Kane's DNA to make an army of clones. However, Mark 1 manipulated events so that Kane, Donovan, Spid, and Ace Proton were forced to go after Mark 2. The four syndicate agents there defeated Mark 2 for the last time and destroyed the entire cloning facility and the Kane clones.
