Emperor Palpatine

The most powerful man in the galaxy before his presumed death at the hands of Luke Skywalker, Emperor Palpatine's true power was never known to the galaxy. Although still partly conjecture, Syndicate agents have believed to have seen him recently on Nar Shadda.

When the Hapan, Jens, recognized that one of her foes looked like a younger version of the former Emperor, Fabius Kane deduced that this may have been a clone of Palpatine. Neither one knew Palpatine was a Force-user, but considering the powers of the new Emperor, neither was too surprised.

What Palpatine was doing at Raka'an the Hutt's casino, following the call of other Force users, his relation to the Hutt, or why his entourage was attacking many of the other Force-users attracted to that casino, are unknown.

Regardless, largely through the efforts of Jens and Kane, the clone was killed, but whether Palpatine may appear again, in another clone, is unknown. However, if he does return, Palpatine is likely to hone in on these heroes and their friends, after they laid waste to Palpatine's entire entourage.
