Tremayne
One
of the Empire's most mysterious figures, few are sure who Tremayne
was or exactly what he did, but he held the post of High Inquistor
since Palpatine's rise and did also under Darth
Sentyne's rule.
During
the height of his power, he was known to have been at Bespin,
with Colonel Brecht and
the Empire's elite Storm Commandos, overseeing some sinister plan.
He just happened to be there when Fabius
Kane and Papa Beedo
came to see Brecht, to collect on an old debt, after gettting
into trouble with Mr. Boruu
and IL-1D20 Mark 2.
However, Brecht rebuked Kane's entreaties and Tremayne did nothing.
Yet, the High Inquisitor realized Kane's potential for the Force
and ordered him taken away for his kind of training. Beedo, despite
his great Force abilities, was ordered to die, largely because
of his alien status. Rumors have it that Darth Sentine arrived
on Bespin later on the Executor.
What Tremayne told his Emperor about Kane is unknown.
The
High Inquisitor was later killed on Center Point Station in the
Corellian system, when the redeemed Jedi, Veroshk,
sacrificed his life to end the Darksider's. Yet
before dying, Tremayne played a large role in Papa Beedo's death.
Further, Kane had learned from Veroshk that the High Inquisitor
had killed both his mother, Maya Nadeen, and his first teacher,
Vima-Da-Boda.
