Born and raised in upstate New York, I was seduced by New Orleans and never looked back. I practice law, play music, and like to write just about anything. Through trial and error, I've survived myself and become who I am: constantly questioning everything in search of truth. But the big truths are all lies we already know and so we must endure and resist, and insist on letting the lie be known.
Life is too short for sandpaper whiskey and an imagined afterlife, so I strive to be better now, freely embracing the ubiquitious inspirations of the mundane; and the character, music, and food of the New Orleans is the best place in the world to do that. Living in the historic Bywater neighborhood, downriver from the French Quarter and Faubourg Marigny, in a 100-year old house, is the perfect place to dream of what lies around the next corner.
